Job description

We are recruiting a Graduate Engineer to join our Engineering Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on the design, assembly, and testing of bespoke equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines. Each project presents unique challenges, providing a valuable learning experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering calculation packages to validate designs using hand calculations and FEA software
  • Assist with component selection (e.g., pumps, motors, gearboxes) for umbilical reels and hydraulic power unit systems, validating choices through calculations
  • Create 3D models and detailed fabrication, manufacture, and assembly drawings
  • Participate in design reviews with internal teams and external clients to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
  • Prepare test procedures and operation manuals for equipment

Requirements

  • BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
  • Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings

Desirable

  • Experience with CAD and FEA software such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
