About the Role:

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our people across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Engineer to join our Engineering Team, based at our Brackley site.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf-life products where hygiene standards are critical. As a Graduate Engineer you’ll be working Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.

What will you be doing as a Graduate Engineer at Avara?

Engineering responsibility for an area within the operational environment as the Asset Manager. Monitoring equipment downtime, analysing trends to drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives and projects.

What will your key responsibilities include?

• Asset Manager, responsible for all equipment in an area
• Maintain a high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regime
• Responsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime in orderto drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Raising of Planned Maintenance or reactive maintenancejobs for respective area
• Review of all completed job sheets in respective area
• Production of downtime data for weekly meetings
• Lead and support installation and capital projects
• Communicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers and contractors
• Understanding of engineering and operational KPI’s and be able to identify areas forimprovement
• Interact with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problems
• Support the Site Principal Engineer and engineering peers to develop robust weekly and monthly maintenance plans that improve asset availability and equipment performance
• Coordinate OEM engineer service visits with production and planning teams and scheduling further work that arises from those inspections
• Oversee equipment calibrations and complete and review PUWER assessments to maintain equipment compliance
