We have an opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join The Cadillac Formula 1 Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will play a vital role in supporting the Electronics Hardware group in the delivery of on and off-car electronics projects. A Cadillac Formula 1 Team we aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Principal Accountabilities:


  • Supporting electronic project activities including:
    • Instrumentation design
    • Test rig design
    • Electronic hardware design
    • Wiring harness design
  • Supporting electronic hardware calibration and validation activities.
  • Generation of technical documentation to support the introduction of new systems and updates.
  • Identifying and resolving electronic system faults.

Requirements

What do you need to bring to the team?


  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar
  • Experience with the design of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and bare metal programming.
  • Programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++ and Python. (Preferred)
  • Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Ability to prioritise in a time pressured environment and manage personal deadlines.
  • Good levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
