Electrical Engineer required for Lighting and electrical manufacturer based in Walsall, with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation. We are seeking a hands-on, motivated technician to join our team. This diverse role blends practical electrical installation with creative design and project management. You will be involved in everything from CAD design and electrical installations to customer communication and on-site work using a cherry picker. Electrical Engineer Job Overview

• Carry out electrical and lighting installations, both internally and externally
• Assist in electrical/electronic design for lighting systems
• Use CAD software for technical drawings (training provided)
• Use Photoshop for basic visual work (training provided)
• Operate a cherry picker for elevated installations (training/certification can be arranged if needed)
• Manage small to medium-sized projects from planning through completion
• Liaise directly with clients to understand project needs and ensure satisfaction
• Maintain clear documentation of work and communicate progress with internal teams

Electrical Engineer Job Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Electrical installation experience
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors when needed
• Willingness to learn new software and skills (CAD, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience in project management or customer-facing roles is a plus
