We are currently seeking a committed individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines. Are you looking for a career as our next electrical engineer?

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a vibrant Streetcare services team within our environment directorate and be at the forefront of lighting up our community, ensuring our public spaces shine bright to keep our residents safe.

You will assist senior engineers and the public lighting department with day-to-day maintenance, fault repairs, and lighting designs while developing your skills and knowledge in Public Lighting. Your daily routine will include shadowing experienced staff, attending onsite inspections, creating job packs, assisting with projects and designs, preparing reports and contracts, and attending relevant training courses and qualifications.

About You
  • A Degree level Class II Division II or better in a relevant Electrical degree or equivalent.
