Graduate Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer required for Lighting and electrical manufacturer based in Walsall, with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation. You will be involved in everything from CAD design and electrical installations to customer communication and on-site work using a cherry picker. Electrical Engineer Job Overview

• Carry out electrical and lighting installations, both internally and externally
• Assist in electrical/electronic design for lighting systems
• Use CAD software for technical drawings (training provided)
• Use Photoshop for basic visual work (training provided)
• Operate a cherry picker for elevated installations (training/certification can be arranged if needed)
• Manage small to medium-sized projects from planning through completion
• Liaise directly with clients to understand project needs and ensure satisfaction
• Maintain clear documentation of work and communicate progress with internal teams

Electrical Engineer Job Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Electrical installation experience
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors when needed
• Willingness to learn new software and skills (CAD, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience in project management or customer-facing roles is a plus
