Ernest Gordon Recruitment are helping a well-established engineering business in Newbury recruit a Graduate/Trainee Electrical Design Engineer (Control Panels). You will receive full training and mentoring while assisting with panel design and developing your electrical engineering skills.

This role suits a recent graduate or trainee seeking a long-term career with clear progression into a Design Engineer role across bespoke control panel projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate, Junior or Trainee Electrical Design Engineer, or similar
• Degree, HNC/HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of electrical systems, circuits and engineering principles
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the design of electrical control panel systems
• Producing electrical schematics and technical documentation using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Receiving ongoing training and mentoring to develop into a Design Engineer
