Qualifications

• A degree level or equivalent within Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, Science or another relevant subject.
• Recently graduated or first professional experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to communicate with people at different levels of an organisation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications—Excel, PowerPoint & Word and Google Workspace apps.
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment and drive innovation.
• Self awareness and readiness to drive personal development.

Responsibilities

• Support inspections, audits and environmental assessments.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and monitor action completion.
• Assist investigations of accidents, incidents and environmental events.
• Support development and review of risk assessments, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Collect, analyse and present EHS performance data.
• Help produce dashboards, reports and awareness material.
• Support environmental initiatives and waste management.
• Assist with campaigns and employee engagement activities.
• Contribute to compliance with legislation and management-system standards.
