Overview

Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant — Location: Primary School in Merton, London; Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–15:30pm; Salary: £500–£600 per week; Start Date: Immediate

This friendly yet high-achieving Merton primary school is seeking a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join its nurturing Early Years team. Who We’re Looking For

To thrive as a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you must have:

• A degree in Early Years, Childhood Studies, Education, or another relevant subject (essential under new EYFS legislation)
• A genuine passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build nurturing relationships
• An empathetic, caring and resilient nature
• An interest in progressing into teacher training or Early Years specialism in the future
• Some experience working with children (desirable but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the learning and development of children in Nursery and Reception
