Job summary

Eton College is offering six Graduate Teacher positions on a two-year fixed-term contract beginning September 2027, with a Divinity post among Chemistry, Computer Science, Design and more. The programme combines mentoring, teacher training and independent work, including Foundations year and a PGCE/QTS pathway through NITE and the University of Coventry.

Interviews are scheduled for 19–20 November 2026 and 2–4 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a curriculum subject or closely related field.
• Strong commitment to teaching and safeguarding.
• Interest in independent and curriculum enrichment activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop as a classroom practitioner with mentorship, progressing to sole responsibility in Year 2.
• Engage with CIRL Foundations course and collaborative teaching practices.
• Complete QTS Apprenticeship Route with PGCE via NITE and University of Coventry.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities, university applications and trips.
• Participate in pastoral duties and boarding-school life.
