Job Description
Sinara Consultants is actively seeking technically-minded and curious graduates who are interested in a career in DevOps, Application Support, and Engineering to join our Technical Operations team. The role involves DevOps engineering on projects within the Tech Ops team and providing technical support for Sinara-built applications, including maintaining mission-critical applications and delivering application management support to various customers. This is a shift-based role requiring availability for evening and overnight shifts, with full training provided at the start.
The role includes active monitoring, maintenance, management, and incident support of Sinara software applications for our clients. Responsibilities also involve analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving customer support incidents related to cloud-hosted or on-premise applications, which could involve applications, data, or systems. Additionally, the role involves participating in large-scope projects such as building internal environments with Kubernetes or implementing AWS security configurations.
A key aspect of the role is providing 24/7 technical support, requiring working beyond standard hours on a rotating shift pattern between evenings, overnight, and early mornings. The initial two-month training period will be during normal daytime hours.
The role requires technical expertise and collaboration with Sinara’s development teams. It involves working on a multi-shift schedule to provide 24/7 support, with shifts rotating approximately monthly. The role begins with two months of training working day shifts remotely from London, with opportunities for further technical training and certification support.
This is a full-time position requiring 35-42 hours per week, averaging 37.5 hours over shift rotations.
