  • Communicating with clients for specifications and project updates.

Job description

My client are seeking a Graduate Product Designer / CAD Technician to join their expanding business based in Tewkesbury. This is a great opportunity for a Design Graduate or someone who is keen to work within 2D CAD. Offering a starting salary of GBP26,000 increasing to GBP28,000 after 6 months, genuine career progression opportunities and excellent benefits.

The Role:

  • Producing accurate plan layouts using CAD software
  • Updating or redesigning existing plans to represent changes to site
  • Producing standard drawing packs to accompany the site layouts
  • Communicating with clients to take specifications, update on projects and provide site information if requested

Skills and Attributes:

  • Design Graduate - desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of CAD or CAD software, this could be through university, work or personal experience - desirable but not essential
  • Keen interest in CAD / design
  • People skills, ability to communicate well with clients
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work to meet deadlines
