Job summary

BakerHicks in the UK is offering a two-year Graduate scheme to launch your career as a future Assistant Design Manager. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multi-disciplinary teams, with a personalised on-the-job training plan in the HV department and professional development designed to prepare you for chartership.

You’ll contribute to projects across diverse sectors, develop your knowledge of the design lifecycle, support document control and RFIs, and work with senior managers to drive

Qualifications

• 2:1 in a relevant engineering degree, such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Developing awareness and knowledge of the design lifecycle and information management standards.
• Supporting document control, drawing reviews, managing RFIs (requests for information) and design issue logs with support from the team.
• Working with the senior design manager to proactively drive the design forward, to meet client requirements.
• Demonstrating reliability and attention to detail in checking and coordinating deliverables.
