Job summary

BakerHicks in Greater London is launching a two-year Graduate scheme to become a future Assistant Design Manager. The programme blends technical training with professional development across HV projects and multi-disciplinary teams.

You will gain hands-on experience, with day-one support and a personalised training plan, focusing on design management, information handling, and client-focused delivery across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• 2:1 in a relevant engineering degree (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural).

Responsibilities

• Develop awareness and knowledge of the design lifecycle and information management standards.
• Support document control, drawing reviews, RFIs, and design issue logs with support from the team.
• Work with the senior design manager to proactively drive the design forward to meet client requirements.
• Demonstrate reliability and attention to detail in checking and coordinating deliverables.
