Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Management or a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in design coordination and the construction industry.
• Previous industry experience through placement, internship or graduate position is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Design Managers and Project Managers with the delivery of live projects.
• Supporting the coordination of architects, engineers, contractors and wider design teams.
• Reviewing drawings, design information and technical documentation.
• Attending design reviews, project meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Monitoring design programmes, deadlines and project deliverables.
• Helping identify and resolve design issues and coordinate design changes.
• Preparing project reports, meeting minutes and relevant documentation.
• Building an understanding of construction methodologies and the project life cycle.
• Developing the skills required to manage design packages and take on greater responsibility.
