Position: Graduate Design Engineer

Location: Rutherglen, Glasgow or Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

Role: Full Time, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for Graduate Design Engineers to join us based at our Rutherglen office or Tewkesbury!

P2ML, The Structural Engineering arm of Mitie Telecoms, is seeking Graduate Design Engineers to join the team in Rutherglen.

Working mainly within the telecoms industry, P2ML collaborates with major network operators to provide bespoke engineering solutions that distinguish them from competitors. Developing graduate engineers has been a key part of our growth and success, and we are eager to expand our dynamic team with talented new engineers.

What are the general role responsibilities?
  • Assist senior personnel with tasks, ensuring high-quality work at all times.
  • Undertake tower analysis, including re-analysis of existing models and building/analyzing simple structures with MStower.
  • Design tower strengthening solutions.
  • Perform bespoke designs, including hand calculations.
  • Assist with tower measurements and calculations.
  • Prepare health & safety documentation as directed.
  • Plan minor remedial works.
What does our ideal candidate look like?

You will be a recent graduate in civil/structural engineering, motivated, and eager to join a growing team.

You should be capable of managing your workload, planning and scheduling tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
