Job summary

The Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd client, a specialist engineering company in the Bristol area, is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join the team and design systems, sheet metal enclosures and select fans and filters. You will produce design calculations, sketches and schematics, liaise with subcontractors, and prepare cost proposals, driving projects from conception to installation and handover.

A degree in engineering and AutoCAD/SolidWorks experience are required; a full UK driving

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Based within commutable distance of Bristol.
• Full UK driving license.

Graduate Design Engineer required. My client is a specialist engineering company based in the Bristol area who due to continued growth are now seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join their team.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Overview

• Reporting to one of the Directors and working alongside the contracts team, you will be responsible for designing various systems, sheet metal enclosures and making fan/ filter selection.
• Responsible for production of design calculations, sketch drawings, and system schematics.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver design ideas alongside the production and technical teams.
• Produce cost proposals for clients.
• See projects through from initial conception to installation, commissioning and hand over to the client.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree qualified within an Engineering orientated subject
• Experience/ Proficiency with AutoCAD/ Solidworks
• Based within a commutable distance of Bristol
• Full UK Driving License

Graduate Design Engineer Remuneration

• Starting salary 27,000
• Monday - Friday, full-time, permanent position.
• 28 Days Holiday, (including Bank Holidays)
