Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Graduate Design Engineer to join the engineering office team based in Clydebank. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate with strong SolidWorks skills and an interest in design processes, drafting, and continuous improvement.

1. Creating and modifying technical drawings and templates using SolidWorks
2. Assisting senior engineers with design and drafting tasks
3. Supporting the development and implementation of design processes
4. Helping to introduce and improve drawing standards and documentation systems
5. Collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure design accuracy and clarity
6. Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
7. Proficient in SolidWorks - experience creating 2D drawings and 3D models is essential
8. Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
9. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically
10. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Graduate Design Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on experience (likely £25k-£30k).
