What You'll Be Involved In

Location and Team

TMUK Lincoln is seeking a key individual to join our Operations Team in Firth Road, Lincoln as a Graduate Demand Planner. This hands-on role works closely with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Demand Planner, you will analyze current customer sales orders and broader demand to guide and influence supply chain operations. Using Teledyne's ERP system (SAP HANA), along with business intelligence and forecasting from the sales function, you will create and maintain top-level schedules. You will lead weekly cross-functional meetings to ensure customer demand is met and will consider multiple inputs—such as supplier capability and lead times, operational skill levels, and inventory—when delivering plans and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track material inventory.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the sales order book and forecasts.
  • Collect data from internal and external sources on factors known to influence demand.
  • Obtain information on factors that could impact demand, such as technical issues and production annual leave.
  • Gather data from purchasing that can affect demand.
  • Develop demand plans for top-level products and reach agreement with production leads that plans can be achieved.
  • Use and maintain the company's ERP system (SAP HANA).
  • Provide input to the purchasing team in developing and executing inventory strategies on material procurement.

What We're Looking For

  • Skills in forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Relevant experience and/or qualifications in one of the following: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics.
