Data Science Analysts (Graduates 2024 or 2025) MSc in Physics or Maths preferred.

Hybrid working – 3 days in Borehamwood. Must have driving licence as offices are not accessible by public transport.

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with support departments to discover and deliver projects using data and statistics to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Perform statistical analysis on our customer base to formulate pricing or commercial strategies to optimize revenue.
• Deliver insights to drive business decisions and design algorithms to improve pricing or operational strategies.
• Develop a strong understanding of relevant internal and external data sources.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop best practices in analytics and experimentation.
• Design and build internal self-service analytics and experimentation tools.

Experience & Skills Required

• A Master’s degree in a quantitative subject, ideally Physics or Mathematics.
• Ability to interpret business questions, query data (SQL), and apply statistical methods.
• Understanding of statistics (probability, sampling, hypothesis testing, regression) with practical experience.
• Experience with statistical software and programming (R, SQL, Python, etc.) in datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for understanding business needs and collaborating effectively.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience identifying opportunities for product or business improvements and measuring success.
• Experience with modeling techniques like time series forecasting, segmentation, clustering, or anomaly detection.
