Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a Graduate Cover Teacher to deliver pre-set lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils across Rochdale and Oldham. You will build rapport with students, monitor their progression, and keep learners highly engaged throughout the lesson time.

The role offers regular work in a flexible supply setting, with the chance to gain valuable school-based teaching experience and access to free online CPD courses, supported by a dedicated consultant from Engage Education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 UK degree.
• Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Outgoing and personable individual with ability to work with large groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-set lessons for KS3 & KS4 students.
• Build rapport with students and monitor progression.
• Maintain high levels of student engagement.
• Work across Rochdale & Oldham secondary schools.
