Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a Graduate Cover Teacher to deliver pre-set lessons for KS3 and KS4 students across multiple Oldham secondary schools. You will focus on building rapport, monitoring progression and maintaining high levels of engagement during a structured school day.

We offer flexible supply work with regular opportunities, excellent CPD, a dedicated consultant, and the chance to gain vital early teaching experience within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree.
• Previous experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Outgoing and personable individual.
• Ability to work with large groups of children.

Engage Education are working with multiple secondary schools across the Wigan area who are eager to find academically strong and personable Graduate Cover Teachers able to conduct pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 students across a variety of subjects. Graduate Cover Teacher – Role Information:

• Conducting pre-set lessons for KS3 & KS4 students
• Building rapport with students and monitoring progression
• Maintaining high levels of student engagement
• Located across Oldham secondary schools
• Paid £108 - £112 per day during term time
• Working hours: 08.30am to 15.15pm
