Graduate Cover Supervisor - Secondary School

Are you a recent graduate seeking some school-based experience in secondary schools? Are you considering a career in education and teaching? Our partnering secondary schools in Kirklees/Calderdale/Wakefield are seeking confident individuals who are passionate about education to work as Graduate cover supervisors. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule part or full time.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the class learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers and provide handover notes for the absent teacher.
• Adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, organised and have a passion for education and supporting young people.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary age children is desirable but not essential.

Training

If you are new to the Graduate Cover Supervisor role you will be offered a comprehensive Cover Supervisor training Programme to equip you with the skills you need.
