Graduate Cover Supervisors - Rochdale

Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience and develop your teaching skills? Aspire People are seeking Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Rochdale, covering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.

With high demand for cover, this is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience before progressing into teaching roles. Work is available on a daily, part-time, or full-time basis, with options to work up to 5 days a week across multiple schools.

The Role:
  • Position: Graduate Cover Supervisor
  • Location: Secondary schools across Rochdale and the surrounding areas
  • Work Type: Part-time or full-time (flexible)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lesson materials across a range of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged
  • Provide additional support to students where needed
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements:
  • A strong academic background with a UK degree
  • Previous experience ideal (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching)
  • Confidence in leading a classroom and managing behaviour
  • DBS on the update service
  • Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
