Milk Education is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools acrossWakefield and South Leedswho are seekingGraduate Cover Supervisorsto support in the classroom and provide targeted intervention. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching or education.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll also have the opportunity to support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping to raise attainment and promote positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to full classes in the absence of a teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies.
  • Support individual students or small groups with intervention and revision.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to meet the needs of pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress.
  • Assist in the pastoral development of students, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
