Role Overview:
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the classroom before pursuing a career in teaching? Teaching Personnel is seeking ambitious and enthusiastic individuals to work as Cover Supervisors within mainstream secondary schools within the Tamworth area. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a future in education, providing valuable classroom management skills, exposure to different learning environments, and insight into the teaching profession.
This role is ideal for individuals with transferable skills from coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or customer-facing roles who are eager to develop their experience in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Gain invaluable experience in school settings.
- Support students with additional needs and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Develop essential classroom management and leadership skills.

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
