Graduate Cover Supervisor

Location: Leeds
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,597 - £26,681 depending on experience
Start date: September 2025

About the role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include:

* Supervising classes across a range of subjects and year groups (mainly KS3 and KS4).
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain on task.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Supporting students with their learning and answering questions where possible.
* Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for graduates who are confident, adaptable, and passionate about working with young people. Tutoring experience is highly desirable, and a proactive attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
