We are working closely with a mainstream secondary school in Coventry (CV3) to appoint a graduate cover supervisor on a full time basis. We are keen to appoint an aspiring teacher or simply an enthusiastic individual with a real passion for education.

The flexibility of being a cover supervisor means the joy of teaching without the extra responsibilities of planning & marking!

You will be required to confidently "step in" for different class teachers across various subjects within the secondary curriculum.

Hours: Full Time/Flexi

Rate of Pay: £95-115 per day (dependent upon experiences & qualifications)

Location: Coventry, CV3

Ideal person:

- Recent university graduate

- Previous experience within education and/or childcare

-Previous experience working in a similar role (desired but not essential)

- Confident and positive personality

- Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills

- Knowledge and awareness of safeguarding principles

Job role:

- Confidently cover a range of subjects in the absence of the main class teacher

- Ensure students are on task and classroom behaviour is managed carefully

- Follow schools' policies and procedures at all times

- Escalate any concerns appropriately in a timely manner to members of the SLT

- Help support students who require additional learning support
