Graduate Cover Supervisor – Location: Tees Valley. Start Date: September 2025. Salary: £85-£100 per day, depending on experience.

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education before pursuing a career in teaching? Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated graduates for Cover Supervisor roles in secondary schools across the region, starting this September.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of a teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson material and maintaining a positive learning environment. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop classroom management skills, build confidence, and gain first-hand experience of school life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans to classes across a range of subjects
• Manage student behaviour and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment
• Support students with their learning and encourage classroom engagement
• Report back to teaching staff and contribute to the wider school team

What We're Looking For

• A recent graduate (any subject) with a passion for working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A confident and proactive approach to managing a classroom
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
