Job Description:

Location: Milton Keynes

T2M Resourcing is working exclusively with a growing engineering business that supplies the Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, and Defence sectors with cutting-edge products. We are recruiting a Graduate Controls Engineer.

As a Graduate Controls Engineer, your role will involve developing control software for electric machines and power electronic solutions.

Key duties include:

• Software development using embedded C and modelling tools such as Simulink/MATLAB
• Software testing and validation
• Performing simulation/in-loop testing – HiL, SiL, MiL, and PiL
• Collaborating closely with engineering and hardware teams
• Managing software and controls engineering requirements using DOORs
• Understanding and adhering to standards like ISO26262 and DO-178

Requirements for success as a Graduate Controls Engineer:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering – Electronics, Controls Engineering, or similar
• Fundamental knowledge of controls engineering principles
• Experience in hand-coding Embedded C and/or Python
• Knowledge of engineering and software development processes
• Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB - Simulink, Mathworks Embedded Coder, dSPACE, Jira, DOORs
• Passion for engineering and technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team

This role is based in Milton Keynes and requires the candidate to be onsite; candidates must be willing to commute or relocate locally.

As the business works on defence projects, candidates must be able to secure security clearance and be British Nationals or hold Dual British Nationality.
