Graduate Commercial Manager / Graduate Contracts Manager / Graduate Operations Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier. The Graduate Commercial Manager / Graduate Contracts Manager / Graduate Operations Manager will work remotely across the UK, collaborating closely with sales and leadership teams to support commercial success. Responsibilities include overseeing contract negotiations, pricing frameworks, and terms with M&E customers.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Law or a related discipline and have a keen interest in developing a career in contract negotiation and management within the engineering sector.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial engagement with key M&E customers, securing competitive yet sustainable terms aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage customer contracts, ensuring all terms are commercially viable and well documented.
  • Ensure contractual agreements are compliant, commercially sound, and accurately reflect the agreed positions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support demand planning, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Oversee rebate structures, ensuring calculations are accurate, timely, and transparently reported with full audit traceability.
  • Maintain and improve commercial templates, policies, and contract guidance for consistent use across the business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a commercial or contracts management role within the construction, M&E, or building services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms, rebate structures, and complex commercial agreements.
  • Degree in Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Confidence in making legally sound, commercially prudent decisions within a risk framework.
  • Excellent technical understanding, balancing legal, operational, and commercial considerations.
  • Keen interest in developing a career in contract negotiation and management in the engineering sector.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as needed.
