Graduate Civil Engineer (with AutoCAD Experience)
Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to launch your career with a respected consultancy known for delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions across the UK?
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join a forward-thinking and collaborative team working on a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
·Support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to construction
·Prepare detailed drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD (experience with Civil 3D is advantageous)
·Assist in the production of drainage, highways, and external works designs in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
·Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and local authorities
·Contribute to project meetings and help ensure timely delivery of work to high technical standards
·Undertake site visits and surveys as required
About You:
·Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·Proficient in AutoCAD with experience gained through academic work, placements, or previous employment
·A basic understanding of UK design standards (e.g., SuDS, Section 38/278/104) is desirable
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
·Effective communicator, both written and verbal
·Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and eager to learn and develop professionally
