Job summary

Stantec in Reading is launching a 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Civil Engineer. You will work in the Civils team on local water projects and contribute to wider national schemes from day one.

The role involves producing calculations, drawings, and documentation, attending design meetings, and visiting construction sites. You will learn software and design approaches while developing towards chartered status with ICE.

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Reading office, where you will be involved in significant projects across our water division from day one, supporting both local and national work.

About The Role

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will join a Civils team in our Reading office, supporting local water projects and working closely with colleagues across our wider regional and national teams.

The team supports civil design and project delivery across a range of water and infrastructure projects, from early-stage planning and concept design through to tender, construction and operation. You will gain experience on local projects connected to the Derby office while also contributing to wider water sector schemes delivered across Stantec’s UK teams.
