Job summary

Sweco UK is inviting graduates to join the Anglian Water @one Alliance as a Graduate Civil Engineer. You’ll be part of a programme across major infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering with mentors and real responsibilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving and developing skills in structural design, software like AutoCAD, Revit and Robot, and knowledge of UK standards.

Qualifications

  • A 2:2 degree or above BEng or MEng/MSc Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
  • Good knowledge and experience of undertaking structural calculations for various concrete structures not limited to slabs, beams, liquid retaining structures, etc using the British Standard Codes, Eurocodes, and other acceptable standards not limited to Ciria Guidance, BRE, etc Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in undertaking design of various civil engineering structures within the Water and Waste Water Industry and exhibit high competency in the use of MS office suite and relevant engineering software packages not limited to TEDDS by Tecla, Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Robot, CIVIL3D, Revit, etc
  • The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
  • An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment
  • A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel between project locations where required

What we're looking for

We're looking for graduates who are curious, collaborative and keen to build a career in Civil Engineering and who enjoy working with people, solving problems and learning new things.


You’ll need:
