Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer - Transport to join its multidisciplinary team in the UK. The role offers exposure to roads, streets, water, energy and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the project lifecycle from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil or related engineering, familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or related engineering field.
• Experience with 2D or 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn new skills and deliver high-quality work for a range of Clients; carrying out assessments, analysis and design from initial due diligence stages through to construction.
• Use specialist analysis and design software to develop and support the design process.
• Collaborate within wider project and Arup teams, specialists and directly with clients; through good communication skills.
• Be consciences in creating a sustainable future for all and Shaping a Better World.
• Apply digital methods and automation to improve and enhance the work we deliver; by such applying measures as machine learning.
