Job summary

Careys is recruiting a Graduate Engineer to join the Engineering team in Fife. You will deliver high-quality engineering on site while developing technical expertise, focusing on setting out, surveying instruments, and interpreting drawings as well as gaining knowledge of commercial processes, QA, health & safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards or possess a Civil/Structural/Construction-related qualification at least to HNC level.
• Experience with setting out and using surveying instruments on concrete frame projects is desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and transfer data to field teams.
• Competent in surveying and setting out techniques on site.

Responsibilities

• Setting out works and proficient use of surveying instruments.
• Interpreting technical drawings and transferring data to the field.
• Assisting with procurement, logistics, and temporary works management.
• Maintaining records for quality assurance and inspections.
• Applying health, safety and environmental standards on site.
