Your role:

We are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Major Infrastructure team to be based in London , joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.

The Opportunity

This team operates at the core of infrastructure development, expertly weaving together the capabilities of local and national transport teams. They deliver a diverse array of projects, ranging from significant infrastructure undertakings to active travel initiatives and local road improvements. What's truly exciting is their involvement across the entire project lifecycle, spanning from initial feasibility studies right through to construction. Your technical contributions to various projects could involve shaping concept, preliminary, and detailed scheme designs, as well as preparing essential design reports, specifications, and technical notes. You will also complete engineering design work and calculations, potentially including the preparation of 3D design models. A key part of the role is researching the latest technologies and construction techniques, playing a vital part in minimizing the environmental impact of projects. Furthermore, you'll assist in managing Health and Safety risks, proactively working to mitigate potential issues, and prepare cost estimates, helping clients value-engineer the best solutions within given time, cost, and environmental constraints. Finally, you'll develop a deeper understanding of the diverse stakeholders involved in infrastructure design and management by collaborating with professionals from other organizations and disciplines.
