Job summary

Wilde Consulting Engineers in Stockport is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Civils and Infrastructure team on a permanent basis. You will contribute to drainage, highways, development and rail projects, gaining hands-on experience across feasibility through to detailed design.

You will work with experienced engineers, develop your technical knowledge, and progress toward professional qualification in a supportive, close-knit national consultancy with hybrid/flexible working

Qualifications

ICE-accredited Degree in Civil Engineering.
Interest in civil infrastructure projects including drainage, highways, development and rail.
Desire to pursue a career in civil engineering consultancy.
Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
Knowledge of Civil 3D beneficial but not essential.
Good communication skills and teamwork.
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn.
Attention to detail and quality of work.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings and supporting technical information.
Assisting with the design and delivery of civil infrastructure schemes including drainage, highways, development and rail projects.
Producing and amending technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Supporting engineers with calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
Developing an understanding of Eurocodes and UK drainage standards.
Liaising with engineers, technicians and project team to ensure coordinated design information.
