Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a Sheffield-based civil engineering consultancy in recruiting a Graduate Civil Engineer (Drainage). The role focuses on drainage and highways design with hands-on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must be a Civil Engineering graduate seeking chartership through hands-on training and mentoring.
• Willingness to travel to sites for drainage and highways works.
• Strong report writing and drawing skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Shadow senior engineers and learn through mentoring.
• Assist with reports and drawings for drainage and highways projects.
• Conduct site checks and participate in on-site construction activities.
• Engage in in-house and external training programs to achieve chartership.
• Be involved in office-based design work and site visits.

Education

Graduate in Structural/Civil engineering or similar
