Job description

Job Title: Graduate Civil Engineer

My Client, a market-leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy specializing in Flood Risk, Drainage, and Highways Engineering, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their Civils Team in Ashurst Wood.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a friendly team on Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage, and Infrastructure Projects for Residential Developments, serving Housing Developers, Local Authorities, and Private Sector Clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for Flood Zones 1, 2, and 3.
  2. Perform Civil Engineering Design using Civils 3D.
  3. Develop Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
  4. Design Residential Drainage and Sewerage systems using Microdrainage.
  5. Create Civil Engineering designs for residential developments.
  6. Design roads and pavements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience working in a Consultancy or Local Authority environment using AutoCAD and Infodrainage.
  • Residency in the local area and a keen interest in detailed design.
