Graduate Civil Engineer Position at a Leading Civil and Structural Consultancy

My Client, a market-leading Civil and Structural Consultancy specializing in highways, drainage, and highways engineering, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their team based in Rotherham.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a friendly team of engineers on projects including Flood Risk assessments, Highways Environmental projects, Water Resources, Drainage, and Infrastructure for various clients such as housing developers, local authorities, and private sector companies.

Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
  • Civil Engineering Design using Civils 3D
  • Developing Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications
  • Performing Drainage Impact Assessments
  • Designing residential drainage and sewerage systems using Microdrainage
  • Road Design
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Infodrainage during university studies
  • Preferred: Experience working for a UK-based consultancy or local authority in civil engineering design
  • Applicants should reside locally and have a keen interest in detailed design
