Engineering Opportunities

As an engineer in GROW, you can specialise in your chosen discipline and gain the necessary experience to become a technical expert. During the programme, you'll develop core engineering and consulting skills applicable to projects in the UK and internationally.

Sector Focus

Our civil engineering community works across sectors including highways, rail, energy, and water management:

• Highways: Design and development of transportation systems, maintaining and enhancing road infrastructure.
• Water Management: Waste and clean water infrastructure, delivering sustainable solutions and ensuring resilience.
• Rail: All aspects of civil engineering supporting railway structures and systems.
• Energy: Supporting grid upgrades and new connections to meet Net Zero targets.

Roles may involve site visits and inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduating or recent graduate with at least a 2:2 in a relevant BEng or MEng degree.
• Skills in resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as needed.
