Location: Bedford
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Company


This well-respected, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing civils team of 14. The team consists of engineers, transport planners, and technicians who work on a variety of projects across the UK. The Role


As a Graduate Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be a key member of the civil engineering team, working on a diverse range of residential and non-residential projects. Your responsibilities will include:


Design & Drafting (50% drainage, 50% highways)
Using CAD (Microstation preferred, but not essential) to produce road and highway designs
Preparing technical design submissions (S38/S278/S104) for approval
Conducting Flood Risk Assessments and developing Surface Water & Foul Water Drainage Strategies for planning applications
Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities
Using Microdrainage/Flow software to model drainage networks
Reviewing and contributing to site masterplans to ensure compliance with drainage and flood risk regulations
