Job description

We are looking for a Structural/Civil CAD Technician to join our design team to support the Civil Design Department. This is a Hybrid role, where you will be able to work from home as well as attend the Milton Keynes office.

Main duties of this role include creating civil layout and structural drawings, creating AutoDesk Revit families, as well as producing detailed drawings showing Reinforced Concrete, Steel and Masonry. Creating Production Bar Bending Schedules (Rebar) will also be another main duty for this role. Providing any other Civil Design support and supporting electrical design requirements will also be essential duities.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, sound knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud & BIM, as well as the ability to understand and create Civil structural drawings and work with foundations designs, drainage, and external works (such as retaining walls, paving's, access roads etc.). The ideal candidate must also have RC detailing knowledge to include the production of bar bending schedules. and the ability to juggle multiple requests and demands and prioritise accordingly. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud would also be an advantage.
