Reed Engineering is working with a fantastic high tech Research and Development/Manufacturing company who arebased in Milton Park, Didcot.

Location: Milton Park

Hourly Rate: £13.56/hr + Shift Allowance of £16.27/hr for Night Shifts

Shift Pattern: 0700hrs- 1900hrs & 1900hrs– 0700hrs- working on a 4-on / 4-off basis (2-week rota)

Contract: Initial 6-monthcontract with a view to a Permanent role

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Work with various gases, including hazardous ones, following safe working procedures and instructions.
  • Operational Support: Assist with day-to-day activities such as weighing powders, loading machines, and reactors. Note that you will not be operating the process; the shift lead will control the software.
  • Safety Compliance: Wear PPE and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manual Tasks: Perform physically demanding tasks, ensuring you are physically capable.
  • Data Management: Accurately record and sign off on data, including moisture and temperature readings.
