Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated recent graduate for a two year contract, to join our UKI commercial category team. This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on experience in commercial category business development while supporting category initiatives and customer engagement. The successful candidate will work under close supervision to develop a foundational understanding of HP’s products and services and 4P execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develops an understanding of HP’s products or services in order to communicate their features, benefits, and value proposition to potential customers.
  • Works and collaborates with the commercial category team to deliver 4P execution in the UK&I
  • Follows up with leads and potential customers to nurture the relationship, answer questions, and gather additional information.
  • Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance to ensure seamless execution of category plans in adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Conducts external market analysis to gather insights about the industry, competitors, and customer preferences to contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Collects and analyses customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, pain points, and improvement areas to enhance future deliverables.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
  • Participates in training programs and gathers an understanding of product categories, business management, sales strategies, and challenges.

What are we looking for?

  • Recent Bachelor / master’s in business administration, Marketing, Salesor related fields.
  • Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills:advanced communication skills, both written and verbal. Availability to develop presentation in front of a group of people.
  • Proactive, curious, and dynamic personality:Capacity and eagerness to learn new things and be in different environments and workforces.
  • Organized and structured skills.
  • Solid adaptability and change management skills: Adapt quickly in a highly dynamic environment.
