We have a career opportunity for a Graduate Buyer within our Purchasing Department. This application process takes less than 1 minute.

What does this team do? Our purchasing department plays a vital role in ensuring the success of Randox Group through sourcing and acquiring a variety of goods required to ensure positive outcomes for our clients and customers. They do this by undertaking efficient acquisition and procurement of goods and services.

Location: Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY. This is an office-based position.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent.

Working Hours/Flexibility: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 4x9Hrs, with half day Friday (4hrs). (Department capacity pending)

What does the role involve?

1. Ensuring all orders are placed and received on time in accordance with standard procedures and departmental requirements.
2. Preparation and placement of supplier orders.
3. Sourcing potential new suppliers.
4. Cross-checking supplier invoices against orders placed.
5. Maintaining accurate purchasing records.
6. Ensuring all incoming goods are delivered on time.
7. Maintaining service contracts.

Who can apply?

Essential criteria:

• Qualified to degree level: Life Science or Business-related courses.
• Awareness of principles of lean manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel, meeting suppliers/customers.
• UK Driving license.
• Eligibility to work within the UK.

Desirable:

• Purchasing related qualification.
• Understanding of Total Quality Management.
• Placement experience.
• Working knowledge of Health and safety.
