What does this team do?

Our purchasing department plays a vital role in ensuring the success of Randox Group, through sourcing and acquiring a variety of goods required to ensure positive outcomes for our clients and customers. They do this by undertaking efficient acquisition and procurement of goods and services.

Location: Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY. This is an office-based position.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent.

Working Hours/Flexibility: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 4x9Hrs, with half day Friday (4hrs). (Department capacity pending)

What does the role involve?

This role is tasked with the buying operations within the purchasing department, ensuring that all orders are placed and received on time in accordance with standard procedures and departmental requirements.

  1. Preparation and placing of supplier orders.
  2. Sourcing of potential new suppliers.
  3. Providing/cross-checking of supplier invoices against orders placed.
  4. Maintenance of accurate purchasing records.
  5. Ensuring all incoming goods are delivered on time.
  6. Maintenance of service contracts.

Who can apply?

  1. Qualified to degree level: Life Science or Business-related courses.
  2. Awareness of principles of lean manufacturing.
  3. Willingness to travel, meeting suppliers/customers.
  4. UK Driving license.
  5. Eligibility to work within the UK.
  6. Understanding of Total Quality Management.
  7. Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
