An established industry player is seeking two Graduate Building Surveyors for an 18-month fixed-term role. Fixed Term 18 Months
Salary - £28,948 - £31,175
The HOME Team, which is part of the Govan Housing Group, requires two Graduate Building Surveyors on a temporary basis, who will support us achieve this key role by inspecting, assessing and recording the condition of properties across the housing association’s portfolio.
Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager/Operations Supervisors, you will accurately collect data on each property and update the asset management database with findings, ensuring all data is recorded in line with Housing Association standards and regulatory requirements
It is essential the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
·A degree or equivalent in Building Surveying or a related discipline;
·Knowledge of building surveying practices, including property inspections, defect identification, and maintenance;
·Familiarity with relevant housing quality standards and building regulations, particularly the Scottish Quality Housing Standard (SQHS);
·Good understanding of health and safety regulations in the context of building surveying;
·Full clean driving licence.
To be effective in the role, you will also need excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with residents and team members.
