This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor with a few years industry experience to join a successful, friendly, and supportive firm. They are looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their Newcastle team. You will have the chance to progress your career while gaining further qualifications and Chartership alongside a team with diverse experience, from graduates to senior professionals.

Projects vary in size and include residential, cladding, social housing, and refurbishment projects, ranging from single housing schemes to large-scale developments. You will work closely with the team and Senior Building Surveyors to conduct condition surveys, feasibility studies, site inspections, quality management, design coordination, tender and procurement management, contract administration, and writing design specifications. The ideal candidate will be a Building Surveying Graduate working towards Chartership, with industry experience. You should be a team player with the ability to work independently.

Skills and Experience required:

• Recent Graduate with RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree
• Some previous building surveying (or equivalent) experience preferred
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience working in a busy office environment and dealing with clients/customers is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
